Today AT&T announced that their new DIRECTV NOW streaming service will have the NBCUniversal portfolio of networks. AT&T expects to launch DIRECTV NOW in the fourth quarter of this year. This is the first time local channels have been confirmed for the new DIRECTV NOW streaming service.
DIRECTV NOW is AT&T’s new Sling TV competitor that will offer live TV streamed to your media player. With the addition of NBCUniversal the new DIRECTV NOW service now has 100+ channels including the Disney family of channels, HBO, and Discovery Networks.
