This morning AT&T started selling a DIRECTV streaming-only version. You will now have the option to get DIRECTV packages as a streaming package, but the pricing seems to be the same as the satellite version without any promotional deals.
On DIRECTV NOW’s website, you can now get a 65+ channel streaming version of DIRECTV for $93 a month, an 85+ version of DIRECTV for $110 a month, a 105+ channel version of DIRECTV for $124, and a 125+ channel version of DIRECTV for $135 a month streaming online. According to AT&T employees we have talked with these packages are only for sale online and not in AT&T stores.You can find all of these packages on the DIRECTV NOW website by selecting the see more packages button just above the Continue button.
This morning AT&T started to notify customers of a $10 price hike. Not only that but add-ons like HBO are going up also. Now if you want HBO on the old grandfathered plans it will cost you $15 a month. Cinemax, Showtime, and STARZ also cost $11 a month. You can find all of this by going into the settings on DIRECTV NOW and looking at your current package and add-ons.
