DIRECTV STREAM will be raising prices on January 23, according to its website. With the new pricing, one package will increase by $5 per month and two others will increase by $10 per month.
The Choice package will cost $89.99 per month, up from $84.99 per month. The Ultimate package will cost $104.99 per month, up from $94.99 per month. And the Premier package will cost $149.99 per month, up from $139.99 per month. The price of the basic Entertainment package will remain the same at $69.99 per month.
Along with the current plans, most grandfathered plans will also see a price increase, shown below.

“We’re making several adjustments to pricing for DIRECTV STREAM starting January 23, 2022. You’ll see the new pricing in your monthly service fee,” DIRECTV STREAM says in a note on its support page.
“Due to increased programming costs, we’re adjusting the price of our video packages. Periodically, TV network owners increase the fees they charge DIRECTV STREAM for the right to broadcast their movies, shows, and sporting events. In addition, this year we have experienced higher-than-normal inflation across our suppliers.”
Those who are using DIRECTV STREAM with a “contract introductory offer” will be able to keep their discount until the promotional period ends.
