Today Discovery’s CEO announced that their channels will be coming to Sling TV. This comes hours after Hulu added Discovery channels to their lineup.

As part of Discovery’s deal with Hulu 5 cable networks from Discovery are being added to Hulu’s live TV streaming service these networks are Discovery Channel, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Motor Trend, the rebranded Velocity network, and Animal Planet. It seems reasonable that at least these networks will be added to Sling TV in the days or weeks to come.

Some of the most requested channels for Sling TV are the Discovery Networks now that Discovery owns Scripps Networks whos channels are already on Sling TV this partnership seems like the natural next step.

Sling TV has confirmed to Cord Cutters News that they now have a deal to carry some Discovery Network channels. Sling TV also confirmed that Sling Orange and Sling Blue will remain $25 / month each after Discovery Networks are added.
