Disney+ Added Over 10 Million Subscribers In Just Over 24 Hours

Disney+ logoToday Disney announced that it now has added 10 million new subscribers since it launched. This would make Disney+ one of the fastest-growing streaming services ever. The Disney+ app is now available on Roku, PS4, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android, iOS Chromecast, and Xbox, along with Samsung and LG smart TVs.

The service costs $6.99/month with a 7-day free trial. Subscribers can get a bundle deal including Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu with limited ads for $12.99/month, starting today. Learn more about the bundle deal and limitations for the subscription in this post.

You can see why 10 million people signed up in just over 24 hours. Disney is making a large content library available to subscribers. In September, we shared a post with all of the content those testing Disney+ in The Netherlands were able to access on the app. In addition to classic Disney content, Marvel movies, the Star Wars films, and more, Disney has also created original content for the new platform.

Disney did not announce how many subscribers Disney+ has in total but Disney has been accepting signups for over a month now. With this growth, Disney+ could be soon challenging Hulu for the 3rd largest streaming service in the United States.
