Disney+ has revealed the official premiere date for its upcoming Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi. Everything had pointed to the series premiering in May, and we were not wrong, especially since it’s the unofficial month of Star Wars. The new series will be released on May 25th 2022 on Disney+.

We’re still waiting on an official trailer, but Disney+ did release the artwork for the series below.

Ewan McGregor returns to his role as the Jedi Master in this storyline that takes place 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith. Hayden Christensen will also reprise his role as Darth Vader, alongside new castmembers Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse as Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.

This is Disney+’ third Star Was series coming off the heels of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, with several more in the pipeline.
