The wait is over for Star Wars fans anticipating any word on Disney+‘s newest series, The Book of Boba Fett, a spin-off from it’s hit The Mandalorian. The streaming service announced the Boba Fett series will premiere in three months on Wednesday, December 29, exclusively on Disney+. Now the real wait begins.

We got a glimpse of the famous bounty hunter at the end of Season 2 of The Mandalorian, and now he’s getting his own series. The show currently has 8 episodes according to IMDb that will presumably be released weekly on Wednesdays similar to The Mandalorian and Disney+‘s MCU series like Loki. Temeura Morrison will star as Boba Fett with Ming-Na Wen as his sidekick Fennec Shand.

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
