Disney+ is making Star Wars fans wait a little longer for the premiere of it’s new series Obi-Wan Kenobi. The series was originally set to debut Wednesday, May 25, but has been pushed to a weekend release date of Friday, May 27.

While the delay may seem disappointing initially, the goods news is viewers will be getting the first two episodes premiering together instead of one. New episodes will still be released on Wednesdays following the Friday premiere.

Obi-Wan Kenobi actor Ewan Macgregor announced the news himself in a YouTube video posted by the official Star Wars account:

Disney hasn’t revealed a reason for the delay.
