One of the big questions about Disney+ is would we get the Original shows dropped all at once like Netflix or weekly like Hulu. Now we know the shows will be released every week instead of all at once. This news was confirmed by Disney to The Wrap at the D23 Expo in Anaheim California this weekend.

Now, this is for the new Disney+ Original Shows. Older shows will still be released all at once when they are added to Disney+. This means the 5,000+ episodes of older Disney Channel and Disney Junior programming will be available for binge-watching when they are added.

At the D23 Expo, we also learned that Disney will also be creating a new Lizzie McGuire show along with original shows like Ms. Marvel, Ms. Hulk, and Moon Knight, to name a few. It should be expected that all of these shows will also be released weekly instead of all at once.

We are not sure what this means for Disney shorts like the new The Muppets shorts or Forky Asks a Question that will be exclusive to Disney+. For now, we will have to wait and see what Disney does next.
