Disney’s Star+ Launches in Latin America

Disney’s international streaming service, Star+, launches in Latin America today.

“Starting today, Latin American audiences have access to an entertainment experience never before seen in the region. Star+ confirms our commitment to generate relevant and varied offerings by providing our audiences with access to fully personalized content tailored to their tastes,” said Diego Lerner, President, The Walt Disney Company, Latin America.

Star+ is the home for exclusive premieres of TV series and movies from Disney’s brands, including Disney Television Studios, FX, 20th Century Studios, STAR Original Productions, National Geographic Original Productions, and more, and the streaming service for live sports from ESPN.

The streaming service includes fan favorites, like all episodes of The Simpsons, along with original content including a collection of regional original productions from Latin America. 

Along with the launch of Star+, Disney is offering its Latin American audience access to Combo+. With Combo+, subscribers will get all Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic stories available on Disney+; in addition to all Star+ content, including ESPN with live sports from the major leagues, as well as series, animated comedies, films, documentaries, and Star regional and international original productions.
