It’s not rocket science that the titles with the most viewing minutes are usually series that have numerous seasons and episodes, but that wasn’t the case for the first week of January.

According to Nielsen, Disney’s captivating animated musical Encanto clocked over 1 billion minutes of viewing time during the week ending Jan. 9, beating out previous series like The Witcher on Netflix which has 16 episodes. It seems children and adults alike can’t get enough of Encanto‘s colorful animations and show stopping soundtrack, making it easy to rewatch again and again. We’ll see if it can live up to the pressure like a drip drip drip that will never stop and hold on to its ranking in the coming weeks.

Overall, the only title that did better than Encanto in terms of minutes viewed was Cobra Kai which had recently released a new season on Netflix, catapulting the series to more than 2 billion streaming minutes.

Behind Encanto on the list of top-viewed movies for the week, Don’t Look Up ranked second, with Journey 2: The Mysterious Island in third place. We also saw some older titles popping up, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Town, Moana, and more.

Cobra Kai was also obviously the top ranking Original for that week along with The Witcher, with other titles like Stay Close, Queer Eye, and The Book of Boba Fett also making the list.

With many families with kids still at home for the holiday break, Cocomelon shot to the top of the Acquired list with 748 million minutes streamed, more than it’s runners up like NCIS, Criminal Minds and Seinfeld.
