In its Q2 earnings report, Disney announced that ESPN+ has reached 7.9 million subscribers. That number is up 5.7 million from this time last year.

The revenue per user from the service dropped from $5.13 to $4.24. Disney attributes the drop to the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ bundle which gives subscribers a discount on services, bringing the revenue per user down as well.

This is breaking news. We’ll be back with details during the Disney earnings call later this afternoon.
