- March 1th: Happy Birthday BritBox – As BritBox celebrates its FIRST Birthday , subscribers are invited to revisit critically acclaimed series and fan favorites like Mum starring Academy Award Nominee Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread), Brokenstarring Sean Bean (Game of Thrones), and the reboot of the great comedy classic Porridge that made their US debuts on BritBoxover the last year, as well as programs like QI, Inside No. 9 and the iconic detective series Vera starring Academy Award Nominee Brenda Blethyn which all had new episodes exclusively premiered on the service.
- March 5th: Escape To The Country-(BritBox Premiere)- Now Title* – Escape to the Country’s 2018 season continues in March in the Now category – near simultaneous exhibition with the UK. Enjoy all your favorite house hunters as they travel across the exquisite and pastoral English countryside searching for that perfect home in the country. New episodes streaming every Monday and Tuesday in March.
- March 7th: 300 Years of French and Saunders (US Exclusive Premiere) – Returning to screens together for the first time in a decade, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders are back together for a special thirtieth-anniversary sketch show bursting with brand new material, greatest hits, hilarious rarities and even some never-before-seen footage. The special also features fun spoofs of the widely popular Wonder Woman movie and The Handmaid’s Tale, as well as a skit done with the stars of Poldark straight from the show’s set.
- March 9th: Gardeners’ World (US Exclusive Premiere) – Now Title* – Gardeners’ World is the first installment of BritBox’s spring celebration – “Great English Escapes”. Brought fresh from the UK the beloved long running series is celebrating its 50th year (launched January 1968). The program is packed with garden ideas, tips, advice from experts and maybe a secret British garden or two. Just in time to tackle March gardening projects for a month that comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.
- March 14th: Trauma (US Exclusive Premiere; Episode 1) – This three-part edge-of-your-seat thriller from Mike Bartlett, creator of smash hit Doctor Foster, Trauma centers on two fathers, Dan (John Simm) and Jon (Adrian Lester), whose very different lives collide when Dan’s teenage son tragically dies under the care of the E.R. trauma consultant Jon in a Central London hospital.
- March 21st: Trauma (US Exclusive Premiere; Episode 2) In the second installment of the psychological thriller, Dan (John Simm), desperate to know what happened to his son, starts to unpick every aspect of Jon’s (Adrian Lester) life.
- March 21st: Antiques Roadshow (BritBox Premiere) – The original series that inspired the popular PBS series of the same name, and one the biggest Sunday evening watching events in the UK, Antiques Roadshow. Presenter Fiona Bruce and her team travel to various country locations and stately homes in the UK to appraise antiques, and sometimes not so antique, brought in by local people.
- March 24th: The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy (BritBox Premiere) – Based on the best-selling novel by Douglas Adams (which will soon be celebrating its 40th anniversary), this cult series features spectacular visual trickery and a generous helping of zany humour – perhaps from the Restaurant at the Edge of the Universe.
- March 28th: Trauma (US Exclusive Premiere; Episode 3 -FINALE)– Having been failed by the authorities, Dan (John Simm) takes matters into his own hands to get to the truth as this three part thriller climaxes to conclusion.
- March 30th: Midsomer Murders (Seasons 1-19) (BritBox Premiere) – Based on the crime-novel series by author Caroline Graham, Midsomer Murders follows the efforts of Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby (John Nettles), and later Tom’s cousin who became the next chief inspector John Barnaby (Neil Dudgeon), to solve crimes that occur in the wealthy, isolated English county of Midsomer, a picturesque and peaceful place on the outside but one filled with amoral and snobbish eccentrics with all kinds of vices. Midsomer Mysteries is one of the longest running, and most successful British mystery series ever. BritBox will debut the full series catalogue on 3/30 at 3:33 pm EST as a nod to the 333 (fictional) murders that have taken place on the show over its run.
