Sports Fans Watching TVDo you love boxing? Starting in August 2018, you will be able to stream boxing from Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions.

Not only will there be live fights, but also starting July 13 Facebook will stream original programming with rebroadcasts of past fights with commentary from the boxers. Facebook did not say how many fights and original programming this deal includes.

These events will air on Facebook.com and through Facebook apps on a wide range of devices.

This all comes as Facebook, Twitter, and Amazon are fighting over sports rights. From the NFL to boxing these services all want access to major sporting events. Amazon recently landed a new NFL contract and several overseas sporting events. Twitter has been grabbing rights to a long list of sporting events.

Now Facebook is doubling down to expand their original sports programming. This is likely not the last sports deal Facebook, Twitter, or Amazon plan to make.
