Good news for Roku fans the Amazon Instant app has finally been updated with a very Netflix like look.
The app now launches right into recommended TV shows and movies. You have to scroll down 3 rows to get to the search, prime instant video, watchlist, ect. Bellow that you have rows of recently added movies and TV shows followed by top shows.
If the back ground was red you would have thought you had opened the Netflix app. You wont find anything in this update that is ground breaking just a much needed upgraded to bring Amazon Instant Roku app closer in quality to Netflix. The updated did bring a huge increase in speed over old app even on older Roku boxes along with better recommendations but nothing to make the app stand out.
