In December 2017, Mozilla released Firefox on the Fire TV. With the Firefox app, you have a fully powered browser on the Fire TV.

Watch videos from YouTube and other popular sites—or search the web—with Firefox for Fire TV. Use your Fire TV remote or app to play, pause, fast forward, and rewind. The Firefox for Fire TV home screen includes quick access to YouTube, other video sites, and some of the web’s best content. Firefox for Fire TV is made by Mozilla, the nonprofit champions of a healthy internet.

With this latest release, Firefox has included a fresh new look to help you easily navigate the web on your Fire TV. No more typing in URLs that you like to visit frequently. Users can now save their preferred websites by pinning them to the Firefox home screen. By using the menu button, users can easily remove any pinned websites at any time.
