yeah this is somewhat a shot in the foot at Sling TV and Directv NOW, two more popular and known services yet to get CBS, hoping Directv NOW has this same announcement in the coming months sometime though…………

I instantly compared channels after this because where I live my antenna has a hard time receiving CBS, I pay the 7 a month for All-Access. Fubo has some interesting channels too including Sprout in the basic package which is crazy

hmm….got me thinking. I mean, I’m enjoying PS VUE, but…it’s still 40% off for 2 months until friday. I can do this for 2 months.

Do the trial first. I couldn’t see even paying $5

Yeah, FuboTV is easily the worst service out there.

Their guide system is horrible and the DVR functionality is a joke.

Fubo is getting better but without ESPN they will never be competitive. Anyone not able to get locals need ESPN AND access to the ESPN app. Without that access no MNF and no access to a ton of college football/basketball and more. Also access to Fox and NBC sports apps is essential. These apps are the lifeline for those of us without locals and any sports oriented service without ESPN is a joke. Places where ota is impossible or very difficult will be the last places to get locals on these ott services because cable feels they have people by the nads. If there is any $$ in those nads cable will squeeze them as long as possible. The first thing they use in their sales pitch is no locals on ott. Stay with us and keep your locals. I don’t need them or their locals as long as I have VUE and all the apps VUE provides access to.

Unless ESPN gets shutdown cause they got issues mostly self inflicted, bad business decisions made by ownership…….why they continue making cuts, and quite frankly all it is, is John Schmoe any more on there I couldn’t even name a sports broadcaster on there any more cause they either passed on, retired, or were let go………

only catch an occasional baseball game or Monday night football on there any more, don’t watch it like I did growing up……..

I hear you. It may just be ESPNs fault here. Could be forcing fubo to take all their disney channels or they just want too much money. I haven’t had ESPN for years and don’t miss it. I get all my locals OTA tho.

      • Nathan John Ganiere June 21, 2017 at 1:26 pm #

some of it is they would get ESPN they’d have to pay for Disney also my guess as both ran by the same company, and the two I’m sure are not cheap to provide……..

Happy to see CW making deals. Would like to see it added to Vue. The amount of ads on their website is just crazy. I’m catching up on this last season of the DC shows on Netflix right now. Watching without ads may keep me waiting a month till the show is over, but the risk of spoilers is just so high. Would love to have Vue as an option for my Flash fix.

I don’t watch CW, so I couldn’t tell you ..I just know they have a free app.
