This week fuboTV announced that they have 227 locals with the addition of new CBS, FOX, and NBC affiliates.

Now, fuboTV has confirmed to Cord Cutters News that they have rights to 173 new CBS, FOX, and NBC affiliates that will bring their total number of live locals to 400.

Currently fuboTV has 227 locals as follows:

  • FOX coverage in 82% of U.S. households, including 20 of the top 20 markets and 46 of the top 50 (112 total markets)
  • NBC coverage in 72% of U.S. households, including 19 of the top 20 markets and 42 of the top 50 (73 total markets)
  • CBS coverage in 67% of U.S. households, including 20 of the top 20 markets and 35 of the top 50 (61 total markets)

fuboTV has not announced what locals they plan to add, but they do now have rights to 400 in total.

So why are the locals not live yet? It takes time to install equipment in each local and get a dedicated connection to the channel. With that said, recently fuboTV has been adding locals almost weekly.
