Today fuboTV announced that they have teamed up with Roku to offer a free month of fuboTV to all new Roku Player or Roku TV owners. Starting today and running through July 8th 2018 anyone who buys a new Roku and activates it will get a free month of fuboTV.
“fuboTV is the streaming service of choice to watch this summer’s marquee sporting events and hit new shows, and we are excited to showcase our unrivaled content offering to the highly engaged audience on the Roku platform,” said fuboTV VP, Business Development, Min Kim.
“fuboTV is changing the landscape for sports streaming,” said Tedd Cittadine, Vice President, Content Distribution, at Roku. “We’re excited to be able to give Roku customers a chance to experience the world’s most popular live sports and entertainment content for free through fuboTV.”
This all comes as fuboTV recently announced that they have raised an additional $75 million in funding from partners like MC Networks, which is joined by existing investors 21st Century Fox, Luminari Capital, Northzone, Sky and the former Scripps Networks Interactive, recently acquired by Discovery, Inc. fuboTV has now raised $150 in funding to help them grow their live TV streaming service.
