In an interview with David Gandler, CEO of fuboTV, Flixed talked about the success of the streaming service and what fuboTV is doing to set themselves apart from the competition. In that interview, we learned a few interesting facts about fuboTV.
The sports centered streaming service currently offers over 40 sports channels on the Standard plan. That includes the Big Ten Network, FS1, NFL Network, NBA TV, and NBC Sports Network, just to name a few.
On those 40 channels, fuboTV streams over 30,000 sports events every year.
“We’re there for the sports fan,” Gandler told Flixed, “but we have something for everyone else in the home. We’re a cable replacement product for all.”
Recently, fuboTV signed a deal to bring 13 new Discovery networks to its channel lineup, making the streaming service an even better option for the whole family. Subscribers are now enjoying channels like TLC, HGTV, and Food Network. In fact, users are enjoying the lineup so much that they’re spending nearly 80 hours per month on fuboTV, according to Gandler.
In the interview, Gandler also notes that offering an excellent customer experience is a priority for the company. fuboTV listens to feedback, which is what prompted them to begin streaming in 4K, just in time for the 2018 FIFA World Cup matches.
