Cutting the cable connection to coax connector illustrating people cancelling cable TV serviceWhen it comes to searching for streaming services that work well for sports fans, fuboTV and Sling TV are two of the options that are most recommended. Today, we’re comparing these two options to help you decide which might be the best for you.

Plans and Pricing

fuboTV doesn’t have multiple packages to choose from but does have a standard plan with a lengthy list of add-ons to customize your viewing experience. fuboTV has a deal that offers the first month for $44.99 before the price goes up to the normal price of $54.99/month.

For a limited time, you can still get the Sling deal for Sling Orange, Sling Blue, or a combo of the two. During the deal, can subscribe to either Orange or Blue for $15 each, or you can get the combination of Sling Blue and Sling Orange for $25/month. After this limited time deal, the price will go back up to $40/month for Sling Orange + Sling Blue.

Channel and Price Comparison

At $44.99 with 93 channels, your first month with fuboTV comes in at around 48 cents per channel. After the first month, you’ll pay $54.99/month or 59 cents per channel.

With the limited time deal, you can get 56 channels for $25 with the Sling Orange + Blue combo, bringing your total to 45 cents per channel. When the limited time offer ends, you’ll get 56 channels for $40, raising it to 71 cents per channel.

Simultaneous Viewing

With a fuboTV account, you can stream on up to 2 devices simultaneously. If you upgrade with the Family Share Add-On, you’ll be able to watch on up to 3 devices at once.

With the combination of Sling Blue and Sling Orange, you can watch 4 streams simultaneously. However, you can only have 1 Sling Orange stream and up to 3 Sling Blue streams playing at the same time.

Cloud DVR

Each fuboTV subscription includes 30 hours of Cloud DVR storage. Recordings are saved indefinitely. There’s also an option to upgrade to Cloud DVR Plus, giving you 500 hours of Cloud DVR storage for an additional $9.99/month.

With Sling TV, Cloud DVR can be added on as an extra for an additional $5/month. When you add Cloud DVR on, you’ll be able to record and watch live TV, fast forward through commercials, keep your recordings for as long as you’re a customer, and record multiple shows at once. With the add on, your monthly cost (after the limited time offer) will be $45/month.
