Today Hulu and Fox announced that they have struck a deal to bring every episode and all four films of Futurama to Hulu on Monday, October 16th 2017. “My story is a lot like yours, only more interesting ‘cause it involves robots.” -Bender
This deal comes after Fox has recently been adding a growing number of their shows to Hulu. Shows like American Dad!, M*A*S*H*, and more have been added or will soon be added to Hulu. Fox is also in the process of pulling shows like Bones and Family Guy from Netflix and adding more of their back catalog to Hulu.
Hulu also recently struck a deal for the 1990s TGIF shows including Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step, Perfect Strangers and Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper – and the agreement will make Hulu the exclusive subscription streaming home to the largest collection of series from the original “TGIF” lineup with the addition of Boy Meets World and Dinosaurs. All series launch exclusively on the service beginning September 29th. Hulu also recently struck a deal to add more NBCUniversal episodes including 30 Rock, and Parenthood among others.
To make the deal even better Hulu is also offering a $5.99 a month option for new customers for the first year.
