Philo and Best Buy are expanding their partnership and offering a promotion for new subscribers. Right now, those without a Philo subscription can sign up for just $1 for their first month (normally $20) with a qualifying purchase at Best Buy.
Qualifying purchases include everything from an Amazon Fire TV Stick to smart TVs to select titles on Blu-ray. You can find the full list of products and get the offer on the Best Buy website.
Philo announced the partnership with Best Buy in September when the two teamed to give subscribers and customers exclusive offers.
“Complexity is still the biggest barrier for consumers looking to cut the cord and switch to streaming TV, and Best Buy has a long history of helping customers navigate the best tech and entertainment products all in one place,” said Andrew McCollum, CEO of Philo, when announcing the partnership last year.
Philo reached 800,000 subscribers in November 2020 by offering an inexpensive $20/month bundle of over 60 channels including channels from AMC, Discovery, ViacomCBS and more.
