Google today at their Google I/O event announced visual integration between Google Home and Chromecast. Now when you ask Google Home for information your Chromecast will also display details. Rather that be about the weather or what is on YouTube.

You will be able to use your Google Home smart speaker to select what to watch and even start and stop videos on your Chromecast. Want to turn the TV off but don’t have your remote don’t worry Google Home can have your Chromecast turn off your TV.

In the past you can control a handful of services like Netflix and Spotify Premium with a voice command, but most apps did not support voice control. Today at I/O, Google announced that they are adding voice actions for HBO Now, CBS All Access, and others while also throwing support for Bluetooth audio into the mix.
