Google TV continues to expand its live TV hub after adding Pluto TV. Google TV users can now watch over 300 free channels on Pluto TV via the live TV tab. Pluto TV becomes the first free streaming service to be integrated into the live TV tab, and the tab’s fourth streaming service overall, joining paid subscription platforms YouTube TV, Philo, and Sling.

Other free live TV services can be found on Google TV through apps, but with Pluto TV’s integration into the live tab, users can watch their favorite shows and channels with ease on the ad-supported service. The new addition will help in the streaming wars competition with The Roku Channel, which recently added 15 live channels to its free service.

Google is planning to bolster their Google TV service by adding more free streaming options in 2022, plus Pluto TV integration will be available on all Google TV devices within the coming weeks.
