At this time Haier didn’t announce pricing for their new Android TV powered smart TVs, but did note that the new line of TVs will include models that support 4K resolution and integration of the Google’s digital assistant technology.

“Haier is expanding on the success of Haier Chromecast built in televisions, by taking the next step and enhancing our partnership with Google on a global basis,” John Homlish, president of Haier America’s Digital Products Group, said in a statement.

Haier had previously made TVs powered with the Roku TV OS and is now coming back to the US markets with their Android TV powered smart TVs. Haier did not comment on if they plan to bring back any Roku TV OS models to the US market.
