Hallmark Movies Now is Releasing 17 New Movies for Spring

April showers have certainly brought May flowers, but that’s not the only thing blossoming this month. Hallmark Movies Now is debuting 17 new movies in May during its “New Movies in Bloom” event. Some of these are already available to stream, with more to look forward to each Monday in May.

Premiered Monday, April 26

“Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Bone to Pick”

A librarian with a sharp mind for murder, Aurora Teagarden is known around her small town as a master sleuth. When her friend Jane unexpectedly dies and leaves Aurora everything in her will, she also leaves a troubling murder mystery haunting her neighborhood. It is up to Aurora to piece together the clues—including a skull, its missing skeleton, and a suspicious group of neighbors—and solve the murder before she becomes the unlikely killer’s next victim.

“Autumn in the Vineyard”

When Frankie Baldwin and Nate DeLuca both have a claim to ownership of Sorrento Farm, they are forced to divide the vineyard right down the middle and work the fields alongside each other to bring in the harvest leading up to the Best Wine competition at the annual Autumn Harvest Festival — only this rivalry won’t be settled in the fields

“Morning Show Mysteries: Death by Design”

Restauranteur and TV chef Billie Blessings and detective Ian Jackson work together to solve the murder of Billie’s childhood best friend’s identical twin sister. With the evidence pointing towards her beloved friend, Billie must sort through the dead woman’s entire circle of friends – and enemies – in the hope of proving her friend’s innocence

“How to Train Your Husband”

Jillian is a successful marriage therapist and best-selling author. Her career is going just as planned but her own marriage with grad school sweetheart Justin isn’t as successful. Jillian is an expert in marriages and has wisdom to spare for her clients but seldom listens to her own advice. With help from her mother, Mona and friend Nicole, Jillian is hoping to figure out “the secrets to a happy marriage.”

“JL Family Ranch”  

“J.L. Family Ranch” follows veteran rancher and former sheriff John Landsburg, who is forced to face the federal bureaucracy when an old enemy, Tap Peterson seeking revenge over a decades-old grudge falsifies documents and alleges Landsburg doesn’t actually own his beloved family ranch. John however isn’t the type to go down without a fight.

“Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Real Murders”

A mystery hits close to home for Aurora when a member of the Real Murders Club she presides over is found dead. Aurora realizes the crime mirrors a case discussed by the club and fears that one of her members could either be the next target or even the murdered! Much to the chagrin of her protective mother, Aurora investigates this murder and the killing spree that follows.

“JL Family Ranch: The Wedding Gift”  

While John Landsburg and his family prepare the ranch for the opening of their new bed & breakfast, a surprise proposal puts plans for Rebecca’s wedding front and center, with beautiful wedding planner Claudia Dupree taking an immediate liking to the diehard cowboy family patriarch. However, the unexpected reappearance of Landsburg family adversary Tap Peterson’s son after a 20-year absence brings with it a truckload of unresolved issues, including Caleb Peterson’s abandonment of Rebecca and their unborn child, who is now grown up and desperate for a relationship with her father.

At an open house showing, Aurora meets Martin Bartell, a charismatic gentleman with a mysterious past, and happens upon the body of a local realtor who was strangled in the backyard. When the police arrive at the crime scene and open a homicide investigation, Aurora decides to launch an investigation of her own.

“Fixer Upper Mysteries: Framed for Murder”

When home renovator extraordinaire Shannon Hughes suspects foul play in the death of her good friend and neighbor, yet is rebuffed by the police who have declared it “accidental,” she sets out to build a case for murder, with the help of her new client, famous crime reporter and author Macintyre Sullivan. Together, they set out to deconstruct what Shannon believes to be a homicide and nail the perpetrator.

“Over the Moon in Love”

High school friends, Brooklyn and Devin are plutonic yet connected by romance. She can instinctively pair classmates into lasting relationships but can’t find love herself. He can write love songs but can’t complete one ballad. Flashforward 12 years, Brooklyn is a professional matchmaker with her own business, Over the Moon in Love, while Devin is a singer-songwriter, playing weddings and musical gigs. Both have remained single and instantly reconnect over burgers at their favorite food truck, proving the two certainly have chemistry

“A Winter Princess”

When Snowden Peak’s event planner quits days before the Snow Ball, Carly is asked to plan the gala with Jesse, the resort owner’s brother. The arrival of Carly’s twin brother, the Crown Prince of Landora, brings a distraction as his handsome companion has a crush on Carly. Carly is also keeping a secret about her royal identity, which Jesse discovers. Already smitten with Carly, Jesse agrees to stay mum. Carly and Jesse convert the event into a fundraising gala to help infuse much needed resources into the property. But without a celebrity draw, investors aren’t interested, and Snowden Peak is put up for sale. Will Carly allow her royal identity to be exposed to save the resort?

“Fixer Upper Mysteries: Concrete Evidence”

Shannon Hughes once again teams up with her partner in crime-solving to hammer out the details of the murder of her friend’s sister that has gone unsolved for over 20 years. When Shannon finds a human skull in the basement of her current project, she sets out to discover who is behind the mysterious death by piecing together clues left behind in the victim’s hidden diary. With the help of her new client, famous crime reporter and author Macintyre “Mac” Sullivan, they follow the trail to Shannon’s old high school to nail the culprit, but not before another diary is discovered, a murder shocks the resort town, close friends are suspected of foul play.

Two years after her husband Andre’s death, Annie and her children Ella and Milo struggle to cope with his loss. “Fixer Upper Mysteries: Deadly Deed”

When the body of a local bank president is found at the site of her latest project, Shannon Hughes and her friend and tenant, mystery writer Mac Sullivan work to uncover the killer. And as they uncover clues to some nefarious goings-on at the bank, they also discover a long list of Lighthouse Cove citizens who hold grudges against the foreclosure-happy banker.

“Winter’s Dream”

After suffering an embarrassing and public loss when she was younger, former professional skier Kat works as a ski aid and ski shop worker at Bliss Mountain, where she prepares for a Winterfest to drum up business for the quaint town.
