HBO Max Shows Are Up for More SAG Nominations than Any Other Streaming Service This Year

It’s off to Awards Season already, and streaming services are once again taking the nominations by storm. This year, HBO Max and HBO have received 14 Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for the upcoming 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards occurring in February. That’s more noms than any other TV network or streaming service has received.

Succession is up for 5 awards alone, more than any other film or TV show, and Jean Smart leads the actor nominations with 3 for Hacks and Mare of Easttown.

HBO and HBO Max’s 14 SAG Award nominations this year are:

  • 5 nominations for “Succession”: Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, 3 for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series (Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin), and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series (Sarah Snook)
