HBO Max Will Be Available on Hulu as an Add-On at Launch

Today, WarnerMedia and Hulu announced a distribution agreement for HBO Max, making the new streaming service available on Hulu at launch on May 27.

Those who are already subscribed to HBO through Hulu will have access to HBO Max at no additional cost. Those who aren’t currently subscribed to the HBO add on will be able to purchase HBO Max directly through Hulu for $14.99/month.

HBO Max will launch with over 10,000 hours of content including a slate of originals, with more to come, along with an extensive lineup of library and acquired programming including: Friends; The Big Bang Theory; Doctor Who; Rick and Morty; The Boondocks; The Bachelor; Sesame Street; The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air; CW shows such as Batwoman, Nancy Drew, and Katy Keenethe first season of DC’s Doom PatrolThe O.C.; Pretty Little Liars; the CNN catalogue of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknownand much more. Hulu subscribers with the HBO Max add on will access to all of it.

Hulu is the latest distribution agreement announced by WarnerMedia for HBO Max, joining AT&T, YouTube TV, Charter, Google and Apple as distributors of the streaming platform at launch.
