Do you use an HDHomeRun for your DVR? You may want to go and enable Early Access in the settings of your Android app so you can get access to the new HDHomeRun user interface.

Currently, the new user interface is in early testing and SiliconDust is asking for feedback about from users. If you have a suggestion for the new user interface you can leave the feedback HERE.

SiliconDust does warn that there are a few known issues with the new user interface. If you are thinking of switching over here are a few bugs you should be aware of:

  • On first launching Live TV, the title may sometimes be from the wrong channel
  • Rewinding and Fast Forwarding Live TV does not change the stated time on the time indicator
  • Opening Slice a little then scrolling up and down does not always result in expected behavior
  • SAP button can break playback on Android devices

Do you own an HDHomeRun? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think of the new user interface and the HDHomeRun overall.
