A few honorable mentions are Facebook, Fox Now, and CBS.
Biggest Trends:
The first thing we notice was that Facebook, Fox Now, and CBS all dropped out of the top 10. Seeing Facebook drop out of the top 10 was maybe the most surprising and may raise questions about how successful Facebook’s streaming service is right now.
It is also interesting to see that all news apps are now on the outside of the top 10. Recently news apps dominated the top 10 most popular apps on the Fire TV. Now, none can be found in the top 10 as it looks like Americans are looking for something other than news to watch.
