This week is full of new titles coming to these three major streaming services. Netflix is getting Seasons 4 of Carmen San Diego, and Last Tango in Halifax, plus our top movie pick on the red and black streamer this month is Radium Girls starring award-winning actress Joey King, who you definitely know from The Kissing Booth, Hulu’s The Act, and many more.
Hulu brings us Blake Lively’s gritty action thriller The Rhythm Section where she plays a woman who veers down a path of self-destruction and embarks on a revenge hunt to find the culprit behind the tragic plane crash that kills her family. On a lighter note, we also get the series premiere of ABC’s Call Your Mother, and Hulu’s new Original Film The Ultimate Playlist of Noise, where a boy who’s losing his hearing sets out on a cross-country road trip to record a lifetime of sounds in one month.
Amazon Prime is getting season 1 of PBS Masterpiece’s WWII series My Mother and Other Strangers, which follows the fortunes of the Coyne family and their neighbors as they struggle to maintain a normal life after a huge United States Army Air Force airfield, with 4,000 service men and women, lands in the middle of their rural parish in Northern Ireland.
