There’s a lot going on over at HBO Max in the month of May. A big new release is the premiere of WarnerBros. Those Who Wish Me Dead which hits the streaming service the same day as theaters on May 14. The thriller stars Angelina Jolie as Hannah, a smoke jumper still reeling from the loss of three lives she failed to save from a fire when she comes across a traumatized 12-year-old boy with nowhere else to turn.
HBO Max is also debuting its new original series That Damn Michael Che with each episode exploring what it feels like to experience everyday situations including racial profiling, unemployment, falling in love, and more, from the SNL comedian’s perspective.
Plus watch out for the return of several series back for season 2, including Race for the White House, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World, Legendary, and A Black Lady Sketch Show.
And it’s time to whip out your magical lassos again – If you missed Wonder Woman 1984 the first time it premiered last Christmas, the superpowered Diana Prince is back on HBO Max May 13.
