If you haven’t heard, Disney+ is raising its monthly subscription price this week. Starting March 26, a subscription will cost $7.99 a month, up from the $6.99 introduced at launch. Annual plans are also increasing by $10 to $79.99. However, there is one thing you can do if you want to avoid paying more for your Disney+ subscription.

If you sign up or upgrade to the annual membership plan instead of being billed monthly, you can lock in the current yearly subscription price of $69.99 for a whole year, until March 2022. That will save you $25 by switching before you get the new monthly subscription price of $7.99 a month.

Signing up for an annual subscription means you can catch new episodes of ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ each week, plus have your subscription set before the release of ‘Black Widow’ and ‘Cruella’ with Premier Access this summer.

In short, on March 26, 2021, the monthly price of Disney+ will increase to $7.99/month (currently $6.99), the annual plan will increase to $79.99 per year (currently $69.99), and the price of the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle will increase to $13.99/month (currently $12.99). You can avoid that price hike for now by subscribing to an annual plan today.

Lock in your current rate for a whole year by signing up for an annual subscription here.
