Here’s What We Know About Philo’s New Single Package

On Monday, we learned that Philo is moving to a single package on May 6. That single package will cost $20/month and the current $16/month will go away. On the Philo website, we’re already seeing that the single $20/month package is the only one clearly displayed.

In a message from Philo’s CEO, Andrew McCollum, we learned that the single $20/month package will be the same $20/month package with 58 channels that was already available previously.

As McCollum noted in the announcement, consolidating the two packages was the best way for the company to provide quality content without increasing prices for customers.

Those who are already subscribed to the $16/month plan, or who sign up for that plan before May 6, will be able to keep it. (While the $20 plan is the only one you’ll see when going to the Philo homepage, you can still choose the $16/month plan with 45 channels when setting up your subscription here.)

Along with 58 channels, a Philo plan will also still allow users to stream on up to 3 devices at once. Subscribers will also still get the same Cloud DVR with unlimited storage and content saved for 30 days.

These are the channels you’ll get with a Philo subscription:
