Discovery CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels said although the company is unsure if the merge will take place as a single sign on or simply combining the content libraries, it won’t just be a bundle deal between the two services.
Discovery+ focuses on real-life entertainment with genres like home, relationships, food, reality, and more. Meanwhile, HBO Max‘s library is stacked with new Originals like The Flight Attendant, The White Lotus, Gossip Girl, and HBO dramas including the wildly popular Euphoria and Succession.
