A big-time matchup in the Big 12 will take place tonight between two top 15 college basketball teams. The #13 Texas Tech Red Raiders travel to Allen Fieldhouse to take on #8 Kansas Jayhawks in a primetime contest. Both teams have 5 wins in the Big 12 and will be looking to stay afloat in a tough conference that features 5 times ranked in the top 25.

At 16-2, head coach Bill Self has the Kansas Jayhawks dominating this season. They’re in first place in the Big 12 and they only have a single conference loss, which was against the Red Raiders earlier this year. Senior guard Ochai Agbaji leads the team averaging 20.4 points per game and scored 24 points in their first contest at Texas Tech. Agbaji will be looking to defend the homecourt and lead the Rock Chalk Jayhawks to a conference win.

At 15-4, the Red Raiders are 5-2 in conference play and are currently on a 4-game winning streak. The Red Raiders have won 5 of their last 6, which includes a 75-67 win over Kansas. When these two teams faced off in Lubbock, Bryson Williams led the Red Raiders with 22 points and 8 rebounds and they’ll need similar production if they want to leave Lawrence with a victory tonight.
