The last day of NBA All-Star Weekend will feature the best of the league’s past, present, and future as the NBA celebrates its 75th Anniversary season. Cleveland is the host city for all of the festivities taking place including the NBA Legends Awards, the G League Next Gem Game, and the 71st NBA All-Star Game.

The 22nd Annual NBA Legends Awards will honor the best to have ever stepped on the hardwood to play the game.
NBA G League Next Gem Game
The future of the NBA will be spotlighted during the inaugural NBA G League Next Gem Game featuring G League Ignite taking on the Cleveland Charge. For the NBA’s 75th Anniversary season, the next generation of the league will take on the floor on All-Star Sunday in front of fans at the Charge’s home arena, the Wolstein Center.
71st NBA All-Star Game: Team Durant vs. Team LeBron
LeBron James and Kevin Durant were named captains for this year’s All-Star game. James led all players in votes and received the first pick in the player draft, however, Durant is injured and will not be able to play in this year’s game. James will be returning to Cleveland to play at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, an arena he brought their first championship to.

For the third straight year, the ASG will utilize an Elam Ending, where teams have to hit a target score to win instead of using a running clock. The MVP of the All-Star Game will receive the Kobe Bryant Trophy, which is named after the late Lakers star, who was named MVP of the game four times, which is tied for the most ever. During halftime, the NBA will honor its 75th Anniversary Team and take fans through the journey of the first 75 years.
