How to Watch Amazon’s IMDb TV for Free on Roku & Apple TV

Amazon recently launched a new free ad-supported streaming service called IMDb TV. This service runs through the Amazon-owned IMDb website. At launch, Amazon promoted the service as being available on Fire TVs and online.

Amazon is rebranding IMDb Freedive as IMDb TV and is expanding its lineup with new movies and TV shows from Warner Bros., Sony, and MGM Studios.

The good news is you can now watch IMDb TV and all the free movies and TV shows on Roku and the Apple TV.

Option #1

To watch the IMDb TV service on Roku and the Apple TV all you need is the Amazon Prime Video app. IMDb TV is a bit hidden in the Roku and Apple TV version, but it is there. After you open the Amazon Prime Video app, keep scrolling down until you find the IMDb TV.

When I tested it today IMDb TV was 20 rows down on the Roku Amazon Prime Video app. That number of rows can change, but keep going and you will find IMDb TV on your Roku and Apple TVs’ Amazon Prime Video app.

Option #2

You can also add IMDb TV to your Amazon Channels lineup. This will let you find IMDb TV inside the Amazon Channels section of your Amazon Prime Video app. You can add IMDb TV to your Amazon Prime Video Channels HERE.

This gives Roku and the Apple TV app a huge catalog of free movies and TV shows.
