Week 9 of the 2020-21 NBA regular season will tip-off tonight with a lineup of 7 games, including a nationally televised doubleheader. Tonight’s contests feature some of the NBA’s biggest stars, the best team in the Eastern Conference, and the defending Eastern Conference champions. Fans will be in attendance at select games; however, cord cutters can find out how to watch all of tonight’s NBA games below.

Tonight’s national doubleheader will be broadcast on NBA TV with the first game tipping off at 7 p.m. ET. During the early game, John Wall makes his first return to Washington, D.C. when the 11-15 Rockets take on the 7-17 Wizards. Earlier this season, the Rockets traded Russell Westbrook to the Wizards for Wall and the Rockets have been the winner of the trade, so far. These clubs met in Houston earlier this season and the Rockets left with a 107-88 victory behind Wall’s team-high 24 points.
NBA TV’s late game will tip-off at 10 p.m. ET when the reigning and defending Eastern Conference champions the 11-15 Miami Heat take on the 20-8 Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center. Jimmy Butler and the Heat have not lived up to their name as they’ve been on a cold start this season. They have won 4 of their last 5, but are coming off of a 112-95 loss versus the Jazz on Saturday. The Clippers will be without All-Star Paul George tonight due to a toe injury, and former 2-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard is day-to-day due to an injury. Even with their 2 stars injured, the Clippers are currently on a 3-game win streak.
There are a few games around the league that NBA fans will want to keep tabs on. At 7:30 p.m. ET, the 11-15 Hawks travel to the Big Apple in a fierce contest against the 13-15 Knicks on MSG Network and Fox Sports Southeast. The Hawks have been defeated in 8 of their last 11 and are currently on a 3-game losing streak. They are 7-1 when Trae Young scores 30 points or more; however, that single loss was against the Knicks back in January by a score of 113-109.
In a possible preview of the NBA Finals, the 18-9 76ers take on the 22-5 Jazz at 9 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Philadelphia and AT&T SportsNet-Rocky Mountain. Both of these teams have the best records in their respective conferences and neither looks to be letting off the gas. The Jazz are 18-1 over their last 19 games and are currently on a 7-game winning streak. The Eastern Conference favorite for NBA MVP Joel Embiid and the Sixers will be headed into the 4th game of their west coast road trip and they’re currently 1-2 with tonight being their last game before returning home.
At 10 p.m. ET on the YES Network and NBC Sports California in an interconference matchup, the 16-12 Nets take on the 12-14 Kings in Sacramento. Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving are trying to hit their groove as teammates, but the Nets have won their last 4 games against Western Conference teams and will look to continue that streak tonight. Recently, the Kings were starting to turn things around as they went on a 4-game winning streak, but after losing to the Sixers, they’re currently on a 3-game losing streak.
