Week 6 of the 2020-21 NBA regular season continues with 12 exciting games tonight across the country. Tonight’s games are going to be filled with some of the biggest superstars in the league including a national double header. The NBA on ESPN will be the home of tonight’s doubleheader beginning at 7:30 p.m. when the two best teams in the NBA face-off in what may be a future Finals matchup. The 14-4 Los Angeles Lakers travel to the Wells Fargo Center to take on the 12-6 Philadelphia 76ers. Sixers Center Joel Embiid will be looking to stake his claim as 2021 NBA MVP as he looks to dethrone LeBron James and the LA Lakers. Tonight’s local broadcasts will be available on NBC Sports Philadelphia and Spectrum SportsNet.
The late-night national game will directly follow at 10 p.m. ET when the 4-12 Timberwolves head out to the Bay Area to take on the 9-8 Warriors in a rematch from Monday night. The Warriors escaped with a 130-108 win on Monday night and will be looking to win back-to-back games. Local fans can watch this game on Fox Sports North and NBC Sports Bay Area.
No fans will be in attendance when the 10-7 Pacers travel to The Hive to take on the 7-10 Hornets in what may be an Eastern Conference playoff preview. The Hornets are slightly favored to pull off an upset tonight, but they will have their handsful against a good Pacers team. Fans can watch this game on Fox Sports Indiana and Fox Sports Southeast at 7 p.m. ET.
Two 8-loss teams will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. ET when the Nets (11-8) travel down south against the Hawks (9-8). The Nets have been playing below their potential ever since Kyrie Irving has made his return and their defense will have their hands full against Trae Young and the Hawks. YES Network and Fox Sports Southeast will be broadcasting this game.
