Tipping-off at 8:00 p.m. ET, the Southwest Division-leading 16-12 Spurs will host 2021 All-Star Zion Williamson and the 14-18 Pelicans. When these two teams met earlier this season, the Pelicans won a thriller 98-95. Despite leading the division, the Spurs are 3-5 against divisional opponents, whereas the Pelicans are 4-2.
2021 All-Stars James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and the 22-12 Nets will host fellow All-Star Luka Dončić and the 15-16 Mavericks at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The 3-headed monster in Brooklyn will be without Kevin Durant due to a lingering injury; however, they’re on the longest winning streak in the NBA with 8-wins. They’ll look to continue their streak against a Mavs team that will be without Kristaps Porzingis.
There are a couple of games around the league that will pique the interest of NBA fans. At 7:00 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Ohio, and NBC Sports Philadelphia, Joel Emiid looks to continue his MVP-worthy campaign as his Eastern Conference-leading 22-11 76ers host the 12-21 Cavaliers. The Cavs defeated the Sixers 118-94 when these two clubs played in Cleveland earlier this season.
At 8:00 p.m. ET on AT&T SportsNet-Rocky Mountain, and Fox Sports Florida, the NBA-leading 26-7 Jazz travel to The Sunshine State to take on the 13-20 Magic. 2021 All-Star Nikola Vucevic will have to use his magic for Orlando to get the Jazz off-note as fellow All-Stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert have emerged as one of the best duos in the NBA.
