How to Watch the 2021 World Series: Astros vs. Braves on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV & More

And then there were 2. After a thrilling Championship Series, there are new kings of the American and National Leagues. After falling behind the Red Sox 2-1 in the American League Championship Series, the Houston Astros came back to win 3-game straight, including a 5-0, Game 6 shutout, to advance to their first World Series since 2019. Their World Series opponents, the Atlanta Braves, were never behind in the National League Championship Series after eliminating the Dodgers, 4 games to 2.

After a cheating scandal that shocked the baseball world following their 2017 World Series victory, the Astros return to the Fall Classic looking to win their second World Series in their 60th season. The AL West division champions finished the regular season 95-67 record, clinching the AL West for the fourth time in the last five seasons, the Astros are looking to prove that they can win it all without cheating.

The Braves finished the regular season 88-73, winning their fourth-consecutive NL East division title. After playing the Dodgers in the NLCS for the second straight season, the Braves came out on top this time to advance to their first World Series since 1999. Atlanta’s last World Series win was in 1995, and it would be fitting for the franchise to win their fourth pennant in honor of the late franchise-legend “Hammering” Hank Aaron
