Football fans can enjoy the biggest game of the year featuring furry four-legged friends when Puppy Bowl XVIII kicks off. The annual event is shown every Super Bowl Sunday featuring puppies from shelters playing football inside of a model stadium to raise awareness for pet adoption and rescuing abandoned animals.
Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg return as coaches for this year’s “big game.” Stewart won last year’s event and will be leading Team Ruff, while Snoop will be handling coaching duties for Team Fluff. The coaches will give play updates, lead training sessions, and the winning team will receive the Lombarky Trophy.
“I’m honored to be co-hosting the only sporting event on the planet guaranteed to raise the ‘woof’, with the magnificent Martha Stewart!”, said Coach Snoop.
“I’m so excited that Snoop and I are back to kick off Puppy Bowl XVIII, and help a bunch of deserving pups find their forever homes!”, said Coach Martha.
Established in 2005, the Puppy Bowl constantly attracts over a million viewers per year in the U.S. This year’s game will feature 118 adoptable-puppy players from 67 shelters across 33 states. Elmo & Tango from Sesame Street will introduce the starting lineup and Dan Schachner is returning as the Ruff-eree for the 11th year. Steve Levy and Taylor Rooks will be calling all the action on the gridiron between Team Fluff and Team Ruff.

The pre-show for Puppy Bowl XVIII will begin at 1:00 PM ET with the 3-hour “game” kicking off at 2 PM ET on Animal Planet and Discovery+.
