Wrestlemania Weekend is finally here and the WWE will be celebrating its legends with the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The ceremony will take place live from American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, and will feature 6 inductions.

The 2022 Class of the WWE Hall of Fame

The Undertaker

After a career spanning three decades, The Undertaker will get to cement his place among legends when he’s inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. After debuting at Survivor Series 1990, ‘Taker went on to have a storied career with many accolades in WWE: 7-time world champion, 7-time tag-team champion, Royal Rumble, and the longest Wrestlemania undefeated streak (21 wins). He was part of the first-ever casket match, first-ever buried alive match, and the inaugural Hell in a Cell match. Now the Deadman will live on in immortality with WWE’s biggest names.

Vader

Weighing in at 450 pounds, Big Van Vader was a Mastadon in the squared circle. Vader was one of wrestling’s most dominant performances, paving his way through Europe, Japan, and North America. He is notable for being a dominant force in the United States during his time in World Championship Wrestling, where he was a 3-time World Heavyweight Champion, and battled other WWE Hall of Famers Sting, Ric Flair, and Cactus Jack.

Queen Sharmell

Sharmell made the transition from winning the Miss Black America Pageant in 1991 to becoming a Nitro Girl with the ring name Storm in WCW. She became a household name after pairing with her real-life husband WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, who would go on to win the 2006 King of the Ring Tournament. After winning the King of the Ring, Booker transitioned to King Booker while Sharmell became Queen Sharmell and the couple took the WWE Universe by storm.

The Steiner Brothers

Scott and Rick Steiner are arguably one of the best tag teams to ever step foot inside of a wrestling ring. The University of Michigan alumni were known to be rough in the ring, innovative, and would never back down from a fight. The Steiners made their debut in 1989 and went on to win 11 world tag team championships in various promotions across the world.

Shad Gaspard (2022 Warrior Award winner)

The Warrior Award is named after WWE Hall of Famer Ultimate Warrior and is presented to an individual who lives life with courage and compassion that embodies the indomitable spirit of the superstar. Shad Gaspard is best known as one-half of the WWE tag team Cryme Tyme with his partner JTG. Sadly, Gaspard passed away at the age of 39 after he and his son were caught in a strong rip current at Venice Beach in May of 2020. Gaspard told lifeguards to save his son before saving him and he was pulled underwater shortly after.
