The winner of one of England’s top-tier football competitions will be decided in a domestic battle between Chelsea and Liverpool in the 2022 Carabao Cup Finals. Also known as the League or EFL Cup, it has become a staple of English soccer with 92 clubs within the top four levels of the English football league system competing for it.

At 18-6-2, Liverpool is 2nd in the English Premier League and will break their tie with Manchester City if they can win their 9th Carabao Cup. Liverpool is on a hot streak after winning 9 of their last 10 matches.

Chelsea is third in the EPL, with a 14-8-3 record, they’ll be looking to secure their 6th title in the winner-take-all game. The last time Chelsea were runners-up was in 2019, and their last Carabao Cup win was in 2015.
