With the start of the 2019 MLB season today it marks the start of the most cord cutting friendly MLB season ever. Cord cutters now have access to more regional sports networks than ever before and access to both the MLB Network along with the new MLB Strike Zone without having to agree to a 2-year contract from traditional pay-TV services such as cable or satellite TV.

Here are your options to stream the MLB Networks and the MLB Strike Zone on Roku, Fire TV, and the Apple TV.

Sling TV

Just today Sling TV added MLB Network and the MLB Strike Zone network. Now with the Sling TV Orange and Sling TV Blue you can get the MLB Network and MLB Strike Zone as apart of the Sports Extra Add-on. The Cheapest way to get both is the Sling Orange plan and add the Sling Sports Extra for just $30 a month. Or you could get the Sling TV Orange and Blue plan plus the Sling TV Sports Add-on for $50 a month.

For a limited time, Sling TV Orange and Blue is on sale for just $15 a month meaning you could get MLB Network and MLB Strike Zone for as little as $30 a month.

PlayStation Vue

The newest option to watch the MLB Network is PlayStation Vue. Starting with the $49.99 Core plan you can get the MLB network, TBS, ESPN, and even in select markets regional sports networks. This makes PlayStation Vue a great option for baseball fans looking for the MLB Network. If you want the MLB Strike Zone you will need to add the Sports Pack for an extra $10 a month.

YouTube TV

YouTube TV also offers the MLB Network along with ESPN, FS1, and many other networks for just $40 a month.

The best part is there are no long-term contracts. No longer will you have to agree to a 2-year contract to access the games you want to watch. Pay for PlayStation Vue when you want it and cancel it when the season is over.

It has never been a better time to be a cord cutter.

Note: Grandfathered DIRECTV NOW customers on the old DIRECTV NOW plans do have the MLB Network. The new DIRECTV NOW Plus and DIRECTV NOW Max plans no longer offer the MLB Network.
