Here is how you can watch the NHL Stanly Cup playoffs on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and more even if you don’t have a cable TV subscription.

#1 Antenna

NBC will be the place to go for many NHL Playoff Games. Hulu, ,Sling TV, YouTube TV, PlayStation Vue, and DIRECTV NOW all offer NBC in some markets; however, the best way to watch is 100% with an antenna.

To find out if you can get NBC free over the air, check out AntennaRecommendations.com. There you can see if you need an indoor or outdoor antenna to get NBC.

#2 Streaming on Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV:

This year the games will air on NBC, NBCSN, USA Network, NHL Network, CNBC, and the Golf Channel. (Yes, we said the Golf Channel.) Here are the service that offers all of these channels.

Sling TV

Sling TV is the least expensive option. You will need the Sling TV Blue package and the Sports add-on and News add-on for a total of $40 a month. With that, you will get every channel that will air the NHL Playoffs. Sling TV offers NBC (in select markets) CNBC, USA Network, The Golf Channel, NHL Network, and NBCSN.

Sling TV does offer a 7-day free trial that will let you test out the service before you pay for it.

DIRECTV NOW

If you are an AT&T Unlimited Subscriber, you can get DIRECTV NOW at a discounted rate. AT&T gives AT&T Unlimited Subscribers $15 off DIRECTV NOW allowing you to get their $60 a month plan for just $45 a month. DIRECTV NOW offers NBC (in select markets) CNBC, USA Network, The Golf Channel, NHL Network, and NBCSN.
