The NBA returns to ESPN with a big Eastern Conference matchup between the 48-28 Heat and the 47-29 Celtics. Only a game separates the two teams with the Heat at the top of the conference and the Celtics in 4th place. The Celtics are 2-0 against Heat this season and will be looking to defend home court tonight with a victory.

The late game will feature 2 of the 3 top teams in the Western Conference when the 61-14 Suns travel to the Chase Center to take on the 48-28 Warriors. The Warriors are on a skid after losing 4 of their last 5, however, they’re 2-1 against the Suns for the season. The Suns are looking to finish the season strong by continuing their 8-game win streak and stamping themselves as one of the NBA’s all-time great teams.

TNT’s early game is an Eastern Conference matchup at the Barclay Center. The 40-36 Nets are 8th in the conference and are looking to ascend against the second-place 47-28 Bucks. The Bucks lead the season series 2-1 and the reigning NBA champs will be looking to close out the series with another win. Giannis Antetokounmpo will be looking to cement his case on the national stage as a true MVP contender.

LeBron and the 31-44Lakers look to get back into play-in contention as they travel to Salt Lake City to take on the 45-31 Jazz in the late game. The Jazz are free-falling after losing their last 5 games and are currently 5th in the Western Conference. The Lakers are 11th in the West and need a win tonight to keep their postseason hopes afloat.

Another Western Conference matchup will be featured in the late game and has play-in implications. The 31-45 Lakers are 11th in the conference and have fallen out of the play-in, but LeBron is expected to play tonight to help end the team’s 4-game losing streak. The 33-43 Pelicans are 9th in the conference and defeated the Lakers at home 116-108 on March 27, and will be looking for another win tonight at Crypto.com Arena.
