Following an earnings call from AT&T where CEO John Stankey shared that the launch of HBO Max was an all around success, the company is now sharing some insight about how individual shows are performing on the platform.

Friends and The Big Bang Theory are performing beyond expectations and driving high levels of engagement on HBO Max,” the company wrote in a press release Monday. Friends has taken the top spot as the best performing show, with The Big Bang Theory coming in third.

The second spot on the list goes to Love Life, an HBO Max original series. Originals seem to be a hit with the HBO Max audience. Eight originals are in the top 25 best performing series since launch: Love Life, Doom Patrol, Looney Tunes Cartoons, The Not-Too-Late Show, Legendary, Search Party, Close Enough, and Expecting Amy.

Viewers are spending 70% more time on HBO Max when compared to HBO Now (based on January 2020 HBO Now viewership).

The streaming service has a lineup of new content set to arrive next month, including originals like Selena Gomez’s new unscripted cooking show Selena + Chef (exact date to be announced) and Seth Rogen’s comedy film, American Pickle.
